Authentication Programs Note:

### AIM - Authentication programs
#
# If using authentication programs certain Perl modules listed below are
# required, these modules are Socket, Net::SSL, XML::Parser, LWP::UserAgent
# Installed in Perl on your web sites server for this option to work.
#
# The modules below are included with this package
# and should be copied to your servers \Perl\site\lib\Centinel directory
# C:\Perl\site\lib\Centinel <- Create this dir and copy these modules into it
# or ask your host to do it for you, they don't need to be compiled, just copied in.
#
# Required modules: CentinelClient.pm and CentinelConstants.pm
#
# The above modules work with Windows and Unix/Linux type servers....

Notes:

Depending on what your web server has in the way of install Perl Modules,
we recommend using the NET::SSL module, for implementing AIM Order processing
and Authentication programs, it's more reliable and uses less CPU time!

Apple Cart can use the NET::SSL or NET::SSLeary Perl modules, the
CentinelClient.pm and CentinelConstants.pm modules for using the NET::SSL are
located in the /crypto-ssl/ directory or if you are going to use NET::SSLeary Perl
module the modules are located in the /openssl/ directory included with this package.

Remember they don't need to be compiled, just copied in C:\Perl\site\lib\Centinel
directory!

If you have problems obtaining the NET::SSL, for Windows Servers please contact
me. I have 2 pre compiled versions that you can give to your host to install.
One is for Perl 5.6 and the other is for Perl 5.8 Please state which on you need
when contacting me.

You can also have your host go to: http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
to obtain an binary version (pre-compiled) of Win32OpenSSL, which also has pre
complied versions of the NET::SSL and NET::SSLeary in the bundle as well.

The is a program called testenv.pl that comes with the package, I suggest that the
first thing you do is run the program from your browser,
i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/acart/testenv.pl then hit enter on your key
board.

When the program comes up, you will see all of your servers information, etc.
Look at the bottom of the page for a Button that says "See Perl Modules Installed"
Click on it and wait, it will show you all of the perl modules installed on your
server! and you can see if you are missing any required Perl modules.
If you are, write them down and tell your host to install them for you!

They are Free and can be obtained at either Activestate.com for Windows and
Cpan.org for Unix/Linux type servers.

If your host will not install them then you need to find another host that is more
eCommerce friendly! You also have to realize that a free website or a 9.95 host
is not going to give you eCommerce features for free! You get what you pay for!

If you think that this is not worth the hassle, then think again!

This program has been designed with the latest Support for the Cardholder
authentication programs, Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode™ with an
exclusive Fraud Detection Suite! This will help Stop Charge Backs!!!

The bottom line is profits that stay, not excessive Charge Backs that eat
up your profits!!!
